Circular Motion & Centripetal Force
Experience a wild ride with this lab!
Can this car handle the ride?
A Hotwheels car is used to test Sir Isaac Newton's centripetal force theory by placing a toy car on a roller coaster to see how centripetal force works. Centripetal force is a force that makes a body follow a curved path . It's direction is always orthogonal to the motion of the body and towards the fixed point of the instantaneous center of a curvature of the path.
