Kids Deserve It! Chapters Twenty Two- Twenty Four
The alien look. We've all seen it and I for one am guilty of displaying the blank stare and weary eye every now and again. Why are we afraid to try new things? We have worked so very hard to establish trust here at Richmond Elementary. What better time than now to try a new idea or bring back an idea that didn't go so well the first time with a team that will support us to the end! Daniel Pink shares in his book, When, three principles for successful beginnings: Start. Start Again. Start with a Team. Let's discuss your ideas and uncover their starting place! Share struggles with each other to remove or create innovative ways to move past barriers... Team Richmond is ready to listen! The authors emulate this perfectly on page 153 "We must outflank the challenges which take us off course. There will always be battles, but let's remember why we're in this. We're not just fighting the battle for us. We're fighting these battles for the kids-to give kids the very best. Our Kids Deserve It!"
