B Vitamins are an important part of pregnancy that help make it easier on the mother and the baby. The chart above shows the intake that is recommended. Folate vitamin B helps prevent neural tube defects, and serious abnormalities of the brain and spinal cord, so its definitely something that should be taken into consideration.
First Trimester
Eating the right things helps more towards the the babies benefit and the mothers so she doesn't always feel so sluggish.
Sushi
Sushi isn't the best choice when it comes to pregnancy since you want your baby to be healthy. Since you shouldn't eat anything that's raw, or any kind of steamed fish it could be a problem. So if you were to ever really want sushi you'd have to make sure its actually cooked.
