Volunteer Survey from Home and School
Hello Jamison Parents,
We are seeking volunteers for various events and committees at Jamison Elementary School! Volunteering offers you the chance to be part of your child's elementary school experience while also helping us provide many wonderful opportunities that will enrich your child's years at Jamison.
You can sign up to help for a single event, join a committee, or help as a general volunteer. Expressing an interest does not commit you; we understand that circumstances can change throughout the year.

Please be aware that you do need volunteer clearance from CBSD in order to participate as a volunteer. Thank you in advance - we can't do it without you! https://www.cbsd.org/Page/355
The Jamison Home and School Association
1 to 1 Device Fee Reminder
This is a reminder that the device fee is required for all students. See below for options:
1. Pay the fee via My Payments Plus: Technology & Innovation / User Agreement and Payment (cbsd.org)
2. If you cannot afford this fee due to economic reasons, please contact the school.
3. If you choose to opt out of the program, please let us know. For this option, we will have a designated area in our school to store opt-out devices. Your child will return their device to the designated area in the school each night and can use the device on days that they are in school.
Halloween Parade
Parents are cordially invited to attend Jamison Elementary School’s Halloween Parade on Friday, October 29th. The parade will begin at 9:15AM. You may observe the parade from the playground area just outside of the cafeteria. In the event of rain, please check your e-mail or the website for updated information. Parking is quite limited, so you may want to carpool or walk.
Please help your child to exercise good judgment when selecting a Halloween costume. Costumes with a violent theme should be avoided. Weapons or accessories that could present a danger to others, even as “part of the costume,” are prohibited. Your child should bring their costume in a bag marked with his/her name on it and he/she will change into it before the parade.
When in costume, students must have clear visibility and costume length should be in accordance with your child’s height. Many children will be walking down the stairs in costume for the parade.
6th Grade Yearbook Cover Contest
Yearbook Cover Contest Entries due by Friday Oct. 29, 2021! We are inviting all 6th grade students to enter their drawings in our Yearbook Cover Contest. One winner will be selected to be displayed on the front cover of the yearbook. The entries of the four runners-up will appear on the back cover. Those entries not selected for the covers will be displayed throughout the yearbook.

If your clearances are up to date, simply upload them into the App Garden-Volunteer Tracker.
If your clearances have expired or if you need to begin the clearance process, simply click on Required Documents for the directions. Once you received the approved clearances, you may then upload them into the APP Garden-Volunteer Tracker.
