Save the date for Phoenix Rising's
New Forest Mind, Body & Spirit Fayre Debut!
Come and experience Tui Na Massage!
What is Tui Na?
Tui Na is a form of Ancient Chinese massage developed through several thousand years to become a highly effective non-invasive treatment. Using manipulative therapy, Tui Na is a hands-on body treatment that uses Chinese Taoist principles in an effort to bring the body into balance.
What does Tui Na Do?
Tui Na can be used to treat specific injuries and for general healthcare. Using the same Acupressure points the Ancient Chinese did, will help re-balance the body's energetic system. Deep tension will be released as the muscles, tendons, ligaments and the fascia are worked with in Tui Na.
What Does a Tui Na Treatment consist of?
A treatment will usually last for one hour, in which the recipient is fully clothed either sat on a chair for seated massage, or lying down on a massage couch. After a short consultation, the Tui Na practitioner will begin to massage and manipulate the muscles and acupressure points which release deep-seated tension within the body and the mind. However in the festival taster sessions will be available ranging from 5 minutes to 60 minutes.
What will I experience during a treatment?
Most people carry round a large amount of excessive physical and emotional tension. Tui Na is highly effective at releasing deeply stored tensions throughout the body to leave the body feeling light, rejuvenated and stress free!
