Read All About It!
Hello Kinder Families,
I'm so happy to see the weather beginning to look like spring! I'm looking forward to time outdoors with my almost first graders!
I hope you are enjoying your child's "Book In A Bag." Just as a reminder, at the beginning of the week they will receive a new book. Please read it with them for the first couple of days, and then have them practice reading independently each night. They should bring their books back (in the plastic bag) on Friday. The next week, they will receive a new book. Reading the same book each night will build confidence and help them to become fluent readers.
I am working on report cards, which will be sent home on March 23rd. Please keep the report card, then sign the envelope and send it back to school. Your child's final report card will be sent home in the same envelope.
Thank you for your continued support at home both academically and behaviorally. We are working very hard to remember to follow school rules and be leaders! This includes being safe, respectful and responsible.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me any time : )
Warmly,
Stephannie Ideson
