The Principal's Perspective: Have a Happy, Healthy Summer Vacation
Greetings DHS Community Members:
It is hard to believe that another school year has come and gone, yet here we are with the final day of school just two days away. As the school year comes to a close I want to share my thanks to all of our students, faculty, staff, and parents for another tremendous school year.
I would like to congratulate the Class of 2022 who graduated on Sunday, June 5, 2022. We wish them the very best of health and happiness as they begin the next phase of their life's journey.
Similarly, I want to congratulate members of the Dartmouth High School Faculty who will be retiring at year's end--Mrs. Judy Cronin, Mrs. Jeannie Flight, Mrs. Rosa Costa, Mrs. Patty Kane, Ms. Mary-Ellen McNamara, and Mr. Paul Humason. We wish them the best of health and happiness and thank them for years of dedicate service to the Dartmouth High School community.
Finally, I congratulate Mr. Ryan Shea who will take over as Principal of Dartmouth High School effective July 1, 2022. Mr. Shea is a Dartmouth High School graduate who returned home this past year as Assistant Principal. Mr. Shea will now be charged with leading Dartmouth High School and is looking forward to hosting open office hours during the summer to meet with members of the DHS community. I look forward to continuing to support DHS and to collaborating with Mr. Shea, the DHS administrative team, faculty, and students as I transition to my new role as Director of Teaching and Learning for Secondary Education in Dartmouth.
With Gratitude and Well Wishes for a Happy, Healthy Summer,
Ross A. Thibault
DHS Principal

AP Exam Information
Free Score Send
Ensure your AP students activate their free score send by the June 20 deadline. Every year that your students take an AP® Exam, they have the option to send one score report for free to the college, university, or scholarship organization of their choice. Score reports include both this year's and past AP Exam scores unless students choose to withhold or cancel a score.
Students in all grades should take advantage of their free score send. For seniors, it's a good way to ensure they get the credit or placement they've worked so hard for. For juniors, sophomores, and ninth graders, using their free score send can help them stand out earlier.
