Science Fun Day
A HUGE Success . . .
Science Fun Day was a day filled with learning, as parents presented exciting experiments and activities across all grade levels. Parent volunteers planned and coordinated experiments to engage and teach students about the wonderful world of science. Students rotated through classrooms and attended an assembly facilitated by The Franklin Institute. The assembly was built around the theme of “Hot and Cold” and the three states of matter – solids, liquids, and gases. It was a great day full of excitement, exploring, and learning science!
A BIG thank you goes to all the parent captains and volunteers for your time, dedication, and effort in making Science Fun Day a success. We would also like to thank everyone who donated materials to our event. All of you did a fantastic job, and it was all of you who truly made Science Fun Day the success that it was. . . Thank you!!!
Save the Castle . . .
This past Saturday, Miss Gieseler, Miss Braksator & Mrs. Aldrich along with several sixth-grade students (Lauren Fuchs, Jordan Bass & Julia Mitchell) worked to restore the “Medieval Maze” from Kids Castle. The project is one of several underway as students and community members work to restore Kids Castle. The “Medieval Maze” was originally done by Titus Elementary Students and staff in 1997 for the debut of the play park. For more information on how you help Save Kids Castle, please visit www.savekidscastle.org.
Operation Helping Hands . .
Beginning April 1st through April 10th, Titus will be collecting food for the annual Food Drive Operation Helping Hand. Each grade level is asked to bring in a specific food donation (more information can be found at the link above). Food donations can be left in the rotunda during the time of the collection - April 1st - 10th. Thank you for supporting those in need throughout Bucks County.
Support the Arts . . .
The Central Bucks Art Department is seeking Art Lovers interested in contributing to the Central Bucks Art Scholarship Fund through an advertising donation of $20.00. All proceeds will go directly to fund Art Scholarships for three graduating seniors from our high school programs who are pursuing a career in the Visual Arts. In recognition of your generous donation, the Central Bucks Art Department would like to place a copy of your business card in our District Art Show Program to further foster our District and community connection. Please submit your business card and your $20.00 donation to your school Art Teacher by Friday, March 29th.
3rd Grade Volunteers Needed . . .
Volunteer opportunities for 3rd grade are filling up quickly. To see those times still available, simply click here. FYI, our long term goal is to offer a similar system across all grade levels. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to seeing you in the building soon!
Safety First . . .
Just a quick reminder for parents who pick their children up at the end of the day…please be certain to supervise your children in the parking lot. Students need to be supervised in the parking lot due to traffic and busses moving through the property at dismissal. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
