A Note From the Principal
It has been a great start to the school year! Our faculty and staff have been establishing classroom community and building on developing relationships over the first week in school. We were able to get through the heat last week with some help from our PAWS PTO who brought popsicles to Woodland School. Our students and staff enjoyed a popsicle on Thursday with their classmates. Below are a few pictures of our students who were nominated for #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. We love having students nominated for their efforts and enjoy seeing the students make a phone call home to share the good news!

Drop Off & Pickup
School begins promptly at 9:00am, drop off begins at 8:45am. If you are dropping your child off please be in the line as close to 8:45 as possible to make sure that they arrive to school on time. To help the line move along, your child should have their backpack in their lap and be ready to exit the vehicle once you pull in front of the building. Likewise, at the end of the day, please make sure you are getting your child into the car as quickly as possible to keep the line moving.
Rec center basketball will be starting up soon. If you are interested in signing your child up please click the picture below.
Battle of the Badges
On Saturday, October 14th at 12:00 pm come and see the Southwick Police take on the Fire Department and help raise money for breast cancer research.
Woodland School needs substitutes for the 23-24 school year. Being a substitute offers great flexibility, because you can choose the days you want to work! When teachers are absent, they leave the substitute a detailed lesson plan to follow. Interested? Have questions? Give us a call at 413-569-6598.
