Geography
China has some of the best natural resources such as, coal, iron ore, petroleum, natural gas, mercury, tin, tungsten, antimony, manganese, molybdenum, vanadium, magnetite, aluminum, lead, zinc, rare earth elements, uranium, hydropower potential (world's largest).China's landforms are mostly mountains, high plateaus, deserts in west; plains, deltas, and hills in east.Some of chinas natural disasters are frequent typhoons, damaging floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, droughts, volcanic eruptions.
Government
Chinas govenment type is Communist state.The leaders in China's executive branch are President HU Jintao, and Premier WEN Jiabao. The name of China's legislative branch is unicameral National People Congress or Quanguo Renmin Daibiao Dahui. China's judicial branch is called Supreme People Court.China's constitution was adopted 4 December 1982.Citizens can vote 18 years of age.
Culture
China's religions are Daoist (Taoist), Buddhist, Christian 3%-4%, Muslim 1%-2%note: officially atheist (2002 est.). China's languages are Standard Chinese or Mandarin (Putonghua, based on the Beijing dialect), Yue (Cantonese), Wu (Shanghainese), Minbei (Fuzhou), Minnan (Hokkien-Taiwanese), Xiang, Gan, Hakka dialects, minority languages (see Ethnic groups entry)note: Mongolian is official in Nei Mongol, Uighur is official in Xinjiang Uygur, and Tibetan is official in Xizang (Tibet). China's nationality is noun: Chinese (singular and plural) adjective: Chinese. China's ethinic groups are Han Chinese 91.5%, Zhuang, Manchu, Hui, Miao, Uighur, Tujia, Yi, Mongol, Tibetan, Buyi, Dong, Yao, Korean, and other nationalities 8.5% (2000 census).

China's exports prtners are US 17.1%, Hong Kong 14.1%, Japan 7.8%, South Korea 4.4%, Germany 4% (2011).
