Parmesan Crisps
What You Need:
- 1 6-inch whole-wheat pita (Split)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
- pinch of dried oregano
- kosher salt
Directions:
Heat broiler. Brush the pita with the butter and sprinkle with the Parmesan, oregano, and a pinch of salt. Cut into triangles. Broil until golden, 1 to 3 minutes. Serve.
Coconut Cashew Butter Bonbons
What You Need:
- 1 cup crisp rice cereal
- 1/2 cup cashew butter
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt or table salt
- 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
Directions:
Mix together the cereal, cashew butter, maple syrup, and salt in a medium bowl. Form the mixture into 12 1½-inch balls. Roll the balls in the coconut. Refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Serve.Owl Crackers
What You Need:
- Round crackers
- Mini round crackers
- Cream cheese
- Almonds
- Raisins
Spread a layer of plain cream cheese on a round cracker, using the tip of the spreader to make small indents for feathers.
Press on a pair of mini round cracker eyes (pull apart a Ritz Bits sandwich and used a half for each eye) and attach raisin pupils with a dab of cream cheese.
Finish by pressing on an almond beak and almond-slice feathers. Serve.
Banana Boat

Directions:
Holding the banana curving upwards, remove the top ¼ layer, using a sharp knife.With a small melon scooper, make a shallow, elongated groove to hold the other fruits.
Spritz the banana with orange juice or lemon juice to prevent discoloration.
Fill banana boat with assorted fruits as shown. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream. Serve.
French Toast
What You Need:
- Oatmeal bread
- Eggs
- Skim milk
- Maple syrup
- Strawberries
Directions:
Beat an egg, using a fork, in a medium/low bowl. Add about ¾ cup milk per each egg used. Add a teaspoon of maple syrup and stir well. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out heart shapes from the center of bread slices. Dip all bread pieces into egg mixture and set onto pancake griddle or large skillet set on medium heat. Brown lightly on both sides. Garnish with cut strawberries and maple syrup. Serve.

Layered Parfait
What You Need:
- 20 seedless red grapes, halved
- 3/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup diced pear
- 2 tablespoons granola
- 2 tablespoons roasted pumpkin seeds
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup
Directions:
Layer the grapes, yogurt, pear, granola, pumpkin seeds, and maple syrup, dividing evenly, in 2 jelly jars or glasses. Serve.
Strawberries and Cream Sandwich
What You Need:
- 2 slices whole-grain sandwich bread, crusts removed (Optional)
- 2 tablespoons whipped cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 4 strawberries, sliced
Toast the bread. Top with the cream cheese, honey, and strawberries; halve. Serve.
