FAC Weekly Update
February 12, 2021
Good Morning, Fine Arts Center Family
I hope that you had a terrific week!
We've reached another milestone in the school year with the upcoming President's Day holiday, and the resulting long weekend. We hope that you and yours have the opportunity to rest and recharge. We've got a big stretch of school coming before Spring Break, and lots to look forward to over the next few weeks.
Here is the latest from the halls of the Fine Arts Center...
This Week's Student Leadership Lesson
“True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost.”
“Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is usually more important than the outcome. Not everyone can be Number 1.”
― Arthur Ashe, "Days of Grace"

Wish List - FAC Equipment
Based on feedback from the Parent Guild meeting, I am sharing with you a working document that serves as our Wish List. Please click on the following link to access the list: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Wr_aHAWv3NUTw1e3Oqzb8lUAs6u3zRNXdUPiU24c7Es/edit?usp=sharing.
GCS provides us with a generous budget, but as a pre-professional training ground for aspiring artists, at times we will need to augment what we are given in order to meet professional industry standards. Instead of continuing to ask for donations without stating specific needs, we felt that providing a list would be helpful to our parents who are looking to financially support the school.
This document will be updated regularly. Please reach out to Mr. Popat with any questions. Donations can be made through the following link:
