There has been a lot on offer this week, with Aussie animals visiting Kindy; Tae Kwon Do and T-Ball in sport; and an Aboriginal incursion by Kerry Ann Winmar, whom we thank for sharing her knowledge of the history of Aboriginal people and culture within our local community of South Perth.
A reminder about the compulsory Reconciliation Parent Evening on Monday, 26 October (6 pm in the Parish Centre) and that school photos are being taken on Tuesday and Thursday.
Our P&F have been busy arranging numerous fundraising activities for playground resources and I hope you will be able to support their endeavours. You can join other families on Sunday for the movie; purchase raffle tickets from your Class Rep; or order cards and tea towels.
Enjoy the Grand Final footy this weekend and congratulations to the winners of the Dads' of St Columba's Footy Tipping Competition, announced in this newsletter.

Dads of St Columba's Footy Tipping Competition
As the AFL Grand Final is upon us this weekend, time to share with you where honours go for this year’s Dads of St. Columba’s Footy Tipping competition.
In a year where you needed to be on top of your tipping game with games and rounds played at all sorts of random times, it needed a good dose of focus and effort and clearly our winner not only did this they also were very good at picking the winners.
Backing up their 2018 efforts, the 2020 winner is….
The Merenda Family – Lee Merenda 113 points
Runners Up went to both ATG – Alan G and Iuliano Family – Paul Iuliano on 108 points.
We are making preparation for the perpetual trophy and personal trophy to be presented in an upcoming assembly to Ava representing The Merenda Family.
Thank you for your commitment and support of our P&F through the Footy Tipping and see you all again (and more) in 2021.
