Henry Bessemer the First Man of Steel
Henry Bessemer
In 1861 Henry Bessemer as a young man worked with metal and figured out how air is blown through the molten pig iron, and burning out most of the impurities and you should be left with steel. Then is boiled in big steel tubs and then is pored into a mold to shape it called "billets".
Now days with this invention steel is made cheaply and is sold all over the world
