Big picture

There's No Place Like Bilbray!

Dear Patriot Families,

We are so excited to welcome each of you back as we prepare to open the 2021-2022 school year! Our school is offering full-time, face to face instruction for all of our students. This year, our theme will center around the Wizard of Oz movie. While we travel our Yellow Brick Road of learning, each student may need different things, but we will be "traveling" together and the friendships we gain along the way will last forever! Bilbray students will continue to participate in high-quality instructional routines, collaboration structures and rigorous curriculum. Our teachers are diligently working to prepare engaging lessons to promote learning and social interactions for our students.

We strive to meet the goals of each student as an individual, ensuring they are ready to demonstrate mastery of grade level standards and skills. Our staff are prepared to welcome each student back for full-time instruction, maintaining our high standards for learning both academically and socially.

Our past year of primarily distance learning has provided us with the opportunity to evaluate and refine our practices that may no longer meet the needs of our community. We will continue to offer families the choice of scheduling student conferences in person or virtually, and students will continue to have access to a Chromebook to access many of our amazing software supports for learning.

I feel so fortunate and proud to be part of our OZ-some Patriot community! I am excited to welcome each of you for a wonderful and successful school year!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Altfas

Principal
