Mustang Families,
It has been an incredible first week. Students are responding to "no cell phones" really well and are being incredibly good listeners! Please do not expect your child to text you back during class... they have been so great about being focused on learning. I also wanted to remind you that we are not allowed to take door dash/uber/food deliveries or allowed to let your child go home in an uber. You are welcome to come eat lunch or personally bring food for them anytime!
I encourage you to ask your child about what they learned this week... and in case they say nothing... we have spent a lot of time this week discussing school rules, procedures, and how to be a great Mustang!
Best,
Dr. Tina Krol

Pick Up & Drop Off
The car line is improving each day. A few things that make a HUGE difference for everyone:
1) only use the allowed carline. The students have heard this message as well, please be a good example by following the procedures we have set in place.
2) pull your car ALL the way up. If every car moves two or three feet up then we can get many more cars off of 544 and into our parking lot!
3) make sure your child is ready to exit or enter the car. Unless absolutely necessary, please avoid having to open your trunk (I know some of the instruments are ginormous!)
4) once your child has entered or exited, please move along quickly. Please do not wait and watch your child enter the building.

Bus Information
Every year buses run late in the beginning of the school year. If there is a delay at the elementary or high school route, it impacts the middle school route. Most of the time, the campus is not notified and we realize the bus is late when it is late. I know this is frustrating for many of you, but please know that we are all truly doing our best to keep your children safe at all times. We are all outside with students during dismissal. The moment I am able to get to a computer, I will send an email out. Add notifications from our KMS facebook because it is easier for us to post on our cell phones from the parking lot and you can be notified quickly. All questions and concerns should be directed to: Texas Central School Bus | (469) 794-0152 or transportation@lisd.net
If you are looking for information on your child's bus stop and pick-up/drop-off times, please visit the Transfinder site at the following link: https://www.infofinderi.com/ifi/?cid=NACLI3Y8SZXL6V&ppid=FORD41815
Lewisville ISD and Texas Central School Bus are excited to announce the launch of the “Here Comes the Bus” mobile app. This tool provides LISD students and their families access to real-time location updates of their school bus.
The Here Comes the Bus mobile app is free and available to download on a smartphone, tablet, or can be accessed on a computer. Please note, internet (WiFi or data) is required to access bus location updates.
The app provides:
- Location of a student's bus both before and after school;
- Confirmation a student's bus has arrived at the bus stop, at school, or both;
- Push notifications or email messages when the bus is near a student's stop, if a bus has been replaced with a backup, or when Texas Central School Bus has important information to relay.
Here Comes the Bus can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play, and can also be accessed on a browser by visiting HereComesTheBus.com.
