We're Ready for Opening Day!

First Day of School
ALL students begin their first day of classes on Tuesday, September 6 at 8:45 a.m. Students will start in their first block class and we will then follow an “A day” schedule. Students will receive an updated blue schedule to replace the yellow one mailed home. The Blue schedule will include study hall room numbers. Students will NOT be reporting to homeroom.
Seniors with late arrival on A days do not need to come in for first block. Students who attend EMCC will need to be at Thomas at the following times and locations beginning on Wednesday, September 7
-The bus for EMCC leaves Thomas HS at 7:25 from the north cafe doors.
-The bus for Perinton Ambulance & New Visions Educational leaves at 7:20 from the north cafe doors.
-The bus for New Visions Medical leaves at 7:20 from the front bus loop.
However, students in the New Visions Program at St. Ann's Home and General Hospital are allowed to drive. If students need a bus to get to Thomas, please check the Parent Portal for pick up times.
Students who attend EMCC
The EMCC program begins on Wednesday, September 7th. The students that participate in this program will not attend EMCC on the first day of school, September 6th. There are two options for EMCC students.
A.M. Senior students may come to school when their first class begins. They do not have to come to school until that time unless they do not have transportation. If they do not have transportation they may take the bus in the morning and can utilize the senior lounge, cafeterias, courtyard or bistro tables until their first class.
P.M. Junior students may leave block 3 if they have transportation but if they have to be back by 2:20 for 7th block class. If they decide to leave and come back, they need parent permission. Parents may send in a note or call their students' house office. If they decide to stay at school, they may utilize the cafeteria, courtyard and bistro tables.

To limit disruption, all students are expected to remain
in one location and not roam the building.
School Pictures
All Star Imaging will be at Thomas next Thursday and Friday taking student photos for ordering and appearing in our yearbook. This will be done over the course of two days during physical education classes. If a student misses for any reason, they can go down to the auditorium during their lunch time. We will have a make up session to announced at a later date.
Open House 2021
Information will be going out in the coming week on Open House 2022. Save the date on Thursday, September 8th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. We will be doing this in the open format model to stagger arrivals and cut down on hallway traffic. Parents will be free to walk their Titan's schedule, meet the teachers and learn about all the great things we will be doing at Thomas this year.

Take returnables to Can Kings at 1183 Bay Road in Webster. Simply put together your bottles & cans, label the container with: Thomas PTSA, and hand it to the attendants!

Freshman/ Link Crew Annual Kickball Game
Mark your calendars!! Join us for a good ol' fashioned kickball game under the lights on the turf in our new nBaseball Stadium on September 19th from 7:30-8:30pm. Our 100 strong Link Crew will be there to cheer all our freshmen on and keep the fun going in the 2022-2023 school year. These games are designed for all students to have fun and not be ultra competitive!!

Join Show Choir!
Webster Show Choir will be having auditions on Monday, September 12th at 3:45 in the Schroeder auditorium. Show Choir rehearses on Mondays after school. Any one is welcome - kids should wear appropriate attire to dance in, and we will teach them the rest! A shuttle bus will be provided from Thomas to Schroeder.
