Identity Theft
Identity Theft-happens when a person steals your personal information with out your permission.
You can prevent this by
- Keeping your password private.
- install a anti-virus software
- Before you send personal information over your laptop or smartphone on a public wireless network in a coffee shop, library, airport, hotel, or other public place, see if your information will be protected.
- and many more
SOCIAL MEDIA
If you have Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, or Twitter be smart on what you put on there. Don't be putting stuff that could ruin your reputation, because when you put that pic of you or your friends out there you do not own it. The company owns it. Also, put your private settings on Facebook so everyone is not seeing what you post. This is also one of the ways people can steal your identity.
