Monday Mission: Week of November 21st
Each week, we challenge students, staff, and parents to a "Monday Mission." These missions are aimed at increasing relational capacity, modeling good social skills, and keeping all members of the Dix Street family connected. Give them a try and encourage your child(ren) to take part in our "Monday Missions!"
Student Mission: Give somebody a thank you note that has done something specific to help you be successful at school so far this year.
Parent & Staff Mission: Leave a note for a student thanking them for the effort they have put in or the hard work they have completed.

Dix Street Giving Tree
Dix Street will once again be adding a little Christmas cheer to the local family’s holiday season. Please join us in helping sponsor a family for the 2022 Christmas season.
The Dix Street Giving "Tree" is going virtual again this year via SignUp Genius. Once you sign up for an item, a gift tag will be sent home with your child so you can include the tag with the item and return to the office.
We're asking that all items be returned to the school no later than Monday, December 12th.
Please do NOT wrap the items. Please be sure to include the gift tag with your present so we know to which family member it belongs.
Below is the signup genius link to participate.
Please contact Michael Pavona or Savannah Devine with any questions. 269-694-7700 or sdevine@otsegops.org or mpavona@otsegops.org Monetary donations to go toward gifts are also welcomed.
Thank you for your generous giving donation.

IMPORTANT! Meal Charges Return for This School Year
For the last two years, schools were able to provide free breakfast and lunch due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, free meals are ended at the end of last school year.
Starting with the 2022-23 school year, regular meal prices will be charged to student lunch accounts and the costs need to be covered by families. However, you may still qualify for free or reduced meals!
We are asking ALL families to take a few moments and fill out the federal assistance form. This can be filled out online or on paper. Here is the link to fill out online. A paper copy has also been provided to your child in their welcome letter.
If you have any questions, please contact Julie Guthrie, Otsego Food Service Coordinator, at jguthrie@otsegops.org or 269-694-7447.
Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up
A few Key reminders for pick up and drop off.
1. Please do not park in a parking spot.
2. Stay in your car and allow your child to enter your vehicle curb side.
3. If you are a part of the 3:40 Pick-up line do not enter until you are waved in by a staff member.
4. Only walking parents should be picking their child up in the southwest corner. NO parking and leaving your vehicle to pick a student should happen along Dix Street.
5. When waiting for pick up to begin please be courteous to our neighbors and DO NOT block driveways or Fire Hydrants!
For more detailed information regarding drop-off and pick-up, visit THIS LINK.
Again, we really appreciate your patience.
EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION
It is extremely important to have up-to-date contact information available for each student. When emergencies arise, we need to be able to contact parents/guardians. This is also the contact information that is used for school closures and district updates.
Please log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to check that your contact information is current and to make any necessary changes. If you need assistance or login information for the Parent Portal, please contact the Dix Street OfficeThank You!
