The Trailside Twister
January 2019
Principal's Corner
Happy New Year!
As we enter 2019, many of us set goals or resolutions for the upcoming year. It is also a great time to reflect on 2018 and all we have accomplished. At Trailside, one of our goals the past few years has been to study the concept of a growth mindset and how our building, both staff and students, can benefit from understanding and believing in a strong growth mindset. Perseverance, resilience, grit, empathy, optimism, flexibility, and the power of yet have been our guiding principles and we have initiated various strategies within Trailside to learn about and celebrate these values. Parents and families play an essential role in instilling a growth mindset within your children. If you would like more information on how you can help your child(ren) develop a growth mindset please click here.
As always, thank you for your continued support of Trailside!
