Reading Olympics is HERE!
Reading Olympics
The students in grades 5 to 8 that are part of the Reading Olympics Team are preparing for their competition on Tues., April 26th. This year the event is being held virtually utilizing the platform Kahoot. The teams will answer three rounds of questions about the books that they read. Each team member has read approximately 5 or more books to prepare for the competition, some multiple times. Teams will be awarded ribbons based on the number of points they get in each round of competition. Good Luck to the Reading Olympics Teams!
We thank Mrs. Hastings, Mrs. Gray, and Mrs. McBride for organizing and mentoring Reading Olympics this year.

Summer Programs
Divine Mercy Sunday
Message from Annmarie Flanagan, DRE
We are planning to start up Vacation Bible School this summer during the week of June 27 to July 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. (Covid took this away from us for a couple of years.) This “camp” is a fun time for young children who will be entering grades K to 5 in September. They will learn a Bible story, sing some new songs, have arts and crafts, games in the gym, and a snack each day. Each child also gets a special T-shirt. The fee is $50 per child. I desperately need some adult volunteers to help out. If any parent can help us, please let me know ASAP. I cannot send out registrations until I know I have the help needed. Please consider volunteering. You will love it!

Passion Play:
What a wonderful, spiritual, faith filled night! The 7th and 8th graders put on such a fantastic performance of the Passion of our Lord to a PACKED HOUSE! It was such a joy to see this performance back after a 2 year hiatus due to the pandemic.
A huge thank you to our Directors Barbara Shinkle and Mary Alice LaMorte and to all the parent volunteers who helped to bring this production back to life.
But the biggest thanks is to all the 7th and 8th graders who provided us this very special reenactment of the Passion. Thank you!!! And thank you to all that came!
