Principal's Message
Greetings Elm Families,
We hope everyone had a wonderful week! The spirit around the building was certainly in no short supply. Great job, Cougars! Also, big congratulations to our Cougar Leadership Council on running a spectacular food drive to support the entire Elmwood Park community. I'm so proud of all of our students and families for participating.
It's crazy to say, but this is the last edition of the Cougar Courier for 2022. What a year it has been, in only five short months our students have shown us so many amazing things in the classroom, on the court, field and in after school clubs and activities, and let me tell you it has been nothing short of amazing! We can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds for our entire Elm community. As we enter this season, I always reflect on my time here in Elmwood Park and can't believe how lucky I am to call this my second home. I hope you all enjoy this winter break and it is filled with everything you love. Remember, when we return, it's a new year with 365 clean pages of a new book. I can't wait to see what we all write together.
On behalf of the entire Elm Middle School community I wish you all Happy Holidays and we can't wait to see you all back in action in 2023.
Please take a few minutes to read through this week’s Cougar Courier. As always, should you need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. Have a fabulous break! #TeamElmStrong
Most Sincerely,
Ms. Ashley Groeneveld

To our Elm Families,
Thank you all for a great first half of the year. The support of parents, teachers, and students has been overwhelming. As an administrative team, we cannot express how grateful we are to serve this community. Our vision of being highly communicative and collaborative with our parents and students has come into focus during these first months of learning. Your feedback and support are a huge part of what makes Elm Middle School so wonderful. I would like to wish you all a happy, healthy new year.
Go Cougars!
