Principal's Points

  • We have sent letters to the parents of students who are showing as incomplete or who we do not have an immunization record for. We issued them a 30 day exemption. The latest exemption will expire on 10/12/2022. Please do not delay in sending the requested information to our school nurses.

  • We are mailing report cards again this year. Please be on the look out for report cards!

Math Matters at Delmae

This year, we would like to really challenge our students to show growth in the area of math facts. We are fortunate at our school to have Reflex math as an effective tool for increasing math fact fluency. To aid in motivating our students, we began a school-wide Reflex challenge on Monday, September 19th. Students will be challenged to see which class on each grade level can get 40 green lights per student first. There will be one grand prize class winner, but all classes will be rewarded once they complete the 40 green lights as a class.

Math Facts make Math Masters!

Reading Matters at Delmae

On September 19th we launched a school wide challenge to encourage our students to read and build stamina, while exhibiting many of Delmae's character traits of responsibility and perseverance.

Every student is eligible (grades K-5), to participate. Your child should have a reading log entitled, "Delmae Dawgs Dive Into Leadership" - Principal for the Day.

The goal is for students to enjoy reading while building reading stamina. The program ends on October 19th.

All students who complete the challenge will be entered into a drawing for "Principal of the Day". In addition a grade level winner will de drawn for "Lunch with Mrs. Jolley".

At Delmae, we "Read to Succeed"!
