The origins of McDonald's
McDonald's started in October 1948 by two brothers named Dick and Mac McDonald.
The inventors of McDonalds wanted to manufacture a quick, easy meal that was tasty and inexpensive. The burger started out at fifteen cents, and it was quite a big deal. This was a something huge towards the advance in cheap, easy food. The meat patty was 100% beef on a delectable sesame seed bun, with ketchup and pickles.
By 1982 there were 12,700 McDonalds world wide, and today there are over 33,000
