Greek Drama - Comedy
Comedy
Masks
The picture that I have of the mask, are mask from Comedy Drama back in Ancient Greek Culture. The actors wore masks because they were so far away from the audience and without the aid of exaggerated costumes and masks you wouldn't be able to see anything. The masks were made of linen or cork. Tragic masks carried mournful or painted expressions. The shape of the masks amplified the actors voice, making his or her words easier for the audience to hear.
Costumes
The costumes that they wore were usually dresses or long shirts. They all had designs on them and different ones went with different plays.
