Exploremore Day!
Today was filled with a variety of wonderful activities that children were able to participate in. It was great to see our staff, parents and members of the community come together and facilitate amazing activities for students.
Thank the Lincoln PTA for organizing this amazing event. The Exploremore Day committee continues to excel in providing exciting and engaging activities for children. We appreciate everything that you provide for the Lincoln Community.

Important News From the Nurse's Office
If your child has medication in the health office, a parent or designated adult must pick up student medications during school hours by the student’s last day of school. After this date all remaining medications will be discarded.
Each school year the student's school must have a new doctor’s order on file to continue giving student medication in school. A copy of the medication order is attached and all medical forms including emergency action plans, which need to be resubmitted yearly are available at www.cusd200.org, click on Health Services Information.
If a student self-carries an inhaler, the school will need a parent signature and a copy of the inhaler’s box. A parent must sign the Parent Authorization for Administration of Medication in School section. Please bring this form with the medication in its original container, labeled by the pharmacist to the student's school at the beginning of the school year. A parent or a designated adult must bring medications to school.
PLEASE NOTE:
Medication cannot be given at school until all the paperwork is completed and the medication is delivered in the properly labeled container.
Anytime there is a change in medication or dosage, parents must provide the school with written documentation from the physician. (This information can be faxed to the school.)
Please contact the school nurse if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you.

Attention 5th Grade Parents
If you were unable to attend the 5th grade parent night at Edison Middle School on May 6, the information presented is available on the Edison website here: New Student Info. If you have any questions about your child's transition to Edison Middle School, please contact the Edison counseling office at 630-682-2053. Please note: all requests to change a students' course requests (i.e., add/drop band/chorus/orchestra, drop PACE ELA/math, etc.), must be made by June 11 as the counselors do not work over the summer months. Once the schedule is finalized over the summer, requests for changes are extremely difficult to accommodate. Thank you!

Lincoln Lost and Found
Children misplace various items throughout the school year. As we wrap up the end of the year, many of these items are found as we prepare for summer cleaning. We will have a couple of tables set up inside door 1 with the items that are unclaimed.
The lost and found items will be available for pick-up Tuesday, June 11th. Any items that are left after will be donated to local charities. Please contact the front office if you have any questions.
Congratulations!
We would like to congratulate Mrs. Karen Masus, Mrs. Cynthia Heilingoetter and Ms. Jackie Lopushonsky on their upcoming retirement. After serving the Lincoln Community for many years, they will start a new chapter in life. Thank you for your service to the families of this wonderful community.
