Methacton School District has implemented a new volunteer management system through Raptor Technologies. This new system will allow us to better manage our database of over 2,400 active volunteers and, in the future, better connect volunteers to opportunities in our schools.


New volunteer applicants will now complete an online application to submit an electronic copy of the required clearances and forms. This will eliminate the need for volunteers to bring paper copies of their documents to the buildings.

No action needs to be taken by any volunteer with current clearances (expiration in 2024 or beyond). These volunteers are being added to the Raptor Volunteer management system as approved volunteers. Once processed, these individuals will receive a confirmation email.

Please note, as of January 2023, volunteers now have two classifications: Position Volunteer or Guest Volunteer. In addition, a TB test is only required for volunteers that have direct student contact for ten (10) or more hours per week. We have defined the activities and clearance requirements for each class of volunteer at www.methacton.org/volunteer.


We will be communicating additional information to active volunteers and volunteers with expired/soon to expire clearances in the coming days.
