Happy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy your week with your family.
Dear Families,
Thanksgiving is finally here! That means just three weeks of school left before the Christmas break. Wish we could multiply time as easily as numbers!
In math, we are multiplying every way known to man! Lattice…. Partial Products… and the standard algorithm are all widely used in class. Keeping up math skills over the break will be a big help. XTRAMATH and Think Through Math are the best ways to grow these skills.
In science, we are studying dirt… which types of soil can hold more water… which drains the best. As we continue to learn more about our ever-changing earth, your child will begin to see features of weathering and erosion in the world around them. Help them look for ways the earth is changing right here in Granbury. Today, we looked at how water moves through three soil types.
Science Fair is upon us! All of my students are required to submit a project to the science fair. It can be an individual project or a group project. There is a link below to register online. Project titles/subjects can be changed later, if necessary. I'm so excited to see all the wonderful projects! Use the link below for resources for the science fair!
