You Don't Know Me Until You Know Me

On Monday, Dr. Mykee Fowlin, actor, psychologist and poet presented "You Don't Know Me Until You Know Me" to all of our students in the gymnasium. He talked about many topics including worldwide inclusion, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, celebration of differences, gender equity, and encouraged our students to be kind to each other. His message was inspirational and many faculty and students were touched by his presentation.

From Mrs. Joann Murphy, DVC Instructor

Emily Murray and Autumn Corbett are co-op students for The Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Operational Service Division). They recently each designed a billboard (above: Emily and Autumn). The client changed and combined some elements and came up with a final design (OSD Billboard). These students are learning invaluable lessons about designer/client relationships!!!

Look for this billboard in 6 different locations around Massachusetts.

Remind App--Safe, Simple and Free

The Remind App is a communication tool that helps teachers reach students and parents where they are, get announcements about fundraisers, bus information, including when the bus is going to be late due to traffic or weather, field trips, activities, in-service days, etc. You can use your phone, computer or email. It does NOT share any phone numbers. See the Remind Video Clip to get an idea of what it does if you don't already know.

It's easy to sign up. Just download the free app and text 81010
