2019-2020 Summer Admin Retreat
Join us for great professional growth and team collaboration
Workshop Description & Overview
DAY 1 / Session 1 - (5 Hours) Will focus on the CliftonStrengths Assessment results for your team and how to use them effectively.
Gain insights into your team’s strengths and learn to value the differences of strengths among your team members.
Understand and appreciate differences that will enable leaders and teams to produce at higher levels of productivity.
Identify and understand one’s strengths, which can help increase employee engagement, impact overall morale and understand one’s needs and that of their team members.
Lead in a manner that boosts morale and team performance.
Strengthening the learning prior to the day of the workshop, participants will complete the Gallup CliftonStrengths assessment, which focuses on an individual's strengths and minimizes weaknesses (but does not ignore them). According to Gallup, our society has few, if any, places where people can learn about there talents in order to capitalize on their strengths. Weakness-fixing only prevents failure, whereas strengths-building leads to excellence. In addition, organizations that fail to engage their employees are missing out on the powerful results that can come from engagement.
DAY 2 / Session 1 - Legislative & Legal Updates (Tom Ash and Nicole Donovski)
Session 2 - (4 Hours) Will focus on Building Healthy Teams
Review and apply the Five Functions of a Healthy Team.
Review and apply The Ideal Team Player attributes to your own and your team’s performance.
Commit to becoming an Ideal Team Player
Carry out Personal Action Plans to improve one aspect toward becoming a better Ideal Team Player.
The Building Healthy Teams workshop will enable teams to work together better and get to the point where they communicate more clearly about critical business issues. The organization will see increased productivity and improved communication.
