Effects of floods : positive and negative
Positive effects almost outweigh the negative effects. A positive thing that floods do, is that they keep the land elevation above the sea level. An example of a negative effect is that they release toxin and pollution. Also, floods flood sewage and drainage. When a flood happens they destroy buildings and property. Floods also kill alot of people in the immediate area.

Flash floods can also bring water up to 10-20 feet of water. Floods also help spread human pollution and toxins. Also, floods are just behind tornadoes in the list of natural disasters. Normally floods take a few days to form.
