March Family Night
Fun Facts:
- Did you know that children who regularly eat meals with their families tend to do better in school and avoid risky behavior. This does not have to mean dinner only. If you work at night, try having breakfast together, or a family picnic on the weekend.
- Being in school evey day means your child won't miss out on learning. Try to schedule appointments and family trips outside of school hours. If your child asks to stay home "just because," give a reminder of what will be missed, such as reading group or PE class. Explain that an absence is okay only if there is a sickness or family emergency.

24-hour transportation changes:
Our transportation department asks that you make any AM transportation changes by 4:30 on the afternoon of the day before the change. Example: If I want to change my transportation for Friday morning, I will alert the bus garage by 4:30 PM on Thursday. Please do not leave any voicemails on the OES attendance line regarding transportation changes as it may be 7:45/8:00 before that message is heard due to the large number of voicemails left on our attendance line. Our office is open at 7:00 AM if you would like to speak with us directly at that time; however, please refrain from leaving any voicemails regarding transportation changes on the OES attendance line. Please call the transportation department. Their extension is 4030.
