Armada Elementary School Newsletter

October 30, 2020 * November 2 , 2020

Hello Armada Elementary Parents & Students!

We are already 12 weeks into the school year and the end of Trimester 1 is this Friday, October 30, 2020. Can you believe it? We will be at school for 57 days this Friday! Teachers will be completing report cards by November 4 and they will be mailed the week of November 9, 2020. We have our Halloween Spooktacular Drive-thru Event this Friday during Grab & Go Meals from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, so we encourage our students to come dressed in costume, receive a treat bag, and see a wonderful surprise. We have special District guests coming! This weekend is the end of Daylight Saving Time, so don’t forget to turn your clock back 1 hour on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Yay! We all get one extra hour of sleep!

Next week we are having our 2nd-trimester Materials DIstribution during our Grab n’ Go Lunch from 11 AM - 1 PM. On Monday 1st & 2nd-grade materials will be distributed, Tuesday 3rd through 5th will be distributed and on Wednesday there will be a Make-Up Distribution day for all grade levels.

Just a reminder, school ATTENDANCE is very important and now more than ever students attending their virtual synchronous instruction with Zoom is paramount. Please encourage your child to attend all scheduled daily virtual instructional sessions and complete assignments in Google Classroom. If your child is unable to attend the live synchronous instruction, please contact the school at (951) 571-4500 or through the Armada Attendance Webpage, on the day of the absence.

Thank you, Armada Families!

Until next week, please stay safe, wear a mask, practice social distance, and wash hands regularly.
