Presidential Problems!

George Washington was first put into office in 1789. His title became "Mr. President"
George Washington had to make many important decisions for his army!
1789- In America
This event the government had to disbanded the army. This made it difficult to be President because we had know army, we couldn't fight or defend ourselve. Washington had to come up with a way to raise money and build an army back up.George Washington had to make the decision if he wanted to stay in office for another term. This was a difficult decision for him because he didn't know if he wanted to stay in office and be the most powerful person on earth!
1792- In America

1793-International
This was the France and Indian war. This made it difficult to be President because, you had to make life changing decisions. You had peoples life in your hands.
1794- In America
The Jay Treaty begin! This Treaty was where the British pulled there troops from the Ohio Valley. To be president during this was very hard. First we violated it then, then the French attacked us.
1796- International
Washington had threats in his farewell adress. This made problems with other nations and countries, in spirit of party. This made it hard to be President because there was threats and he had to make it peaceful and a good place for people to live.
1803- International
France took our ships. This would make it hard to be president because all his ships were gone. He needed to get them back. It was very difficult for him to make a decision on what to do.
1809-International
James Madison seized all fire from British on American ships.
