A note from Dcn. Phillip Jackson, Parish Administrator

Parents, as I walk the campus in the early mornings and afternoons, I see many smiling faces and feel blessed to have such an amazing group of students here at Christ the Redeemer. At the same time, I see some activities that are quite concerning to me and put the safety of your children at risk. Please remember that the speed limit on our campus is 15 mph. In addition our parking lot is a school zone; therefore, you are prohibited from using your cell phone while driving. For the safety of all of our families, I ask that you please adhere to these policies, as well as those set out by Mrs. Sierra and your Parent-Student handbook.

Thank you for your cooperation.

CtRCS now accepts payments ONLINE!

We are excited to announce that Christ the Redeemer Catholic School is now equipped to accept payments online using PayPal or a debit/credit card! This method may now be used as one of your payment options for tuition and fees (checks and money orders will still be accepted in the office as usual). Reminder invoices for October will be sent out by tomorrow.

The fine print:

We received an overwhelming request to offer an online payment option for our families. In order to feasibly do this, we must pass along the associated fees to the purchaser. During checkout you will see two convenience fees to cover these costs. Because online payment is one of several options to pay your tuition and fees, you will see these convenience fees as an added cost to your full tuition/fee amount. However, for purchases such as t-shirts, chili cook-off tickets, etc… where the website is the only purchasing option, we have adjusted the item price down to accommodate for these fees.

Using the site:

You may access the site directly or link to it from our site. You will simply add the items to your cart (e.g. monthly tuition, before/after care, late fees, etc…) and checkout. While you are welcome to create an account on the site, it is not required. If you have a unique balance that is not a standard monthly tuition/fee payment, use the item titled “Non-Standard Payments” to add the payment to your cart.

Spirit Wear is on sale through Wed., Sept. 30!

As we did last year, we will offer our spirit wear items for sale twice this year – once in the fall and again in early 2016. These will be the only opportunities to purchase these great Crusader items, so remember to place your orders no later than Sept. 30 so you don’t miss out!

In addition to the items we offered last year, we are offering a black short sleeve Crusader shirt which our CtRCS team will wear as our team shirt at the Steps for Students 5k walk/run on Feb. 20, 2016. The designs on the shirts have not changed from last year, and you may view images when ordering online.

The hoodie is an approved uniform item for the casual uniform (e.g. not on Mass days), and the spirit t-shirts can be worn periodically through the year as directed by Mrs. Sierra.

Payments PAST DUE for parent field trip shirts. Last chance!!

Parents, if you submitted an order for a PARENT field trip t-shirt and have not submitted payment, we will allow you to do so until tomorrow, Sept. 25 at noon. Any orders that have not been paid for by noon tomorrow will not be submitted. We are no longer accepting any new orders. You may drop off a check payable to CtRCS for $12 per shirt ordered or you may pay online (for an additional fee) using the "Non-standard payment" item.

Student field trip shirts do not require payment. Each student registered at the school will receive a shirt that is paid for by the annual activity fee. If you have not already submitted your child's t-shirt size, please do so below.

Please note these field trip shirts are NOT the same as the spirit wear for sale that is mentioned above.

Individual and Class Pictures - available for viewing online next week!

Portraits by CMJ will have individual and class portraits available for viewing and ordering online by next Friday. Once they are posted, we will send out a notice with directions on how to view and order. Please do not send any picture money or order forms to the school. Any orders not submitted on picture day will need to be done through the photographer's website. Once printed pictures are delivered, we will send them home with your child. You may contact Portraits by CMJ with any questions at 713-363-3085.
