Words Their Way Learning Lab

An opportunity to see WTW in action!

Mark your calendar now!

Please plan to join your colleagues for a half-day of Professional Learning designed especially for Special Education Teachers and Support Staff. Whitney Bedor, 4th grade general education teacher at Andersonville, and Jacylyn Burgess, LRC teacher at AE, have been working closely together this year to implement the WTW program both in the classroom and with follow-up support in the Special Education setting.

More Information

During the course of the morning, we'll have a chance to observe WTW taking place in Whitney's classroom. We'll watch Jaclyyn supporting the learning in the classroom and then gain an understanding of her facilitation and differentiation of that learning for her LRC students. There will be a substantial amount of time for dialogue with both Whitney and Jacylyn. Our goal will be to learn from their partnership and see first hand how they have teamed together to ensure that every one of their students develops phonics, spelling and vocabulary skills at his or her appropriate level. I am confident that this will be an outstanding morning of learning for each of us! Thank you, Whitney and Jacylyn.

PLEASE RSVP below, as soon as possible. Thank you!
