DUTCHFEST NEWS (May 6th & 7th)

Longaberger/Toy Auction—Changes this year!

We will be holding a Longaberger event at 7:00 PM, Friday, May 6th, in the Learning Commons. This special event will feature a tea. There is no cost to attend the tea, but we will be asking for RSVPs. Participants will have the opportunity to purchase items through a silent auction. Look for more information in a future parent letter. We are accepting donations of Longaberger items for the auction in the school office.

Also taking place in the Learning Commons Friday evening, May 6th, will be a silent auction of quality, classic children’s items (retail value of $25 or more). If you would like to donate an item, contact Mike Shaker,

Please note that the tea and toy auction are “adult attendance only” events, so this would be a great opportunity to purchase gifts for your children and grandchildren!

Food Items and Helpers Needed: We are in need of specialty baked items--homemade breads and rolls, homemade cinnamon rolls, apple dumplings, homemade candy, etc., to sell at our baked goods stand. In keeping with our “Dutch style foods” theme, we want to focus on “made from scratch” items rather than items from packaged mixes.

We are in need of workers on Saturday in various food areas.

Please contact Tabby Schwartz, 717-375-0106, if you have items that you can bake and donate, or if you are available to help in the foods area during Dutchfest.

We are looking for items for our DUTCHFEST AUCTION. Do you own a business or are you connected to a business that may make a donation to the general auction? Or do you have an item that you could personally donate to the auction? Donations can include goods, services, vacation destinations, sporting tickets, gift certificates, gift baskets, homemade items, handcrafted items and more! If you have an item to donate or would like more information on requesting an item from a business please contact Wayne Myers, or Annette Smith,
