Civil Rights Leaders

These are some of the few civil right movement leaders

Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King believed in non-violence. He saw this practice from Ghandi, when he was trying to rid of the British in India. So he took this and used it throughout the movement

Rosa Parks

Rosa believed in standing up for what is just. Another thing she believed in was being able to have rights, and the ability to defend them.

Malcolm X

Malcolm believed that non-violence wasnt working against the whites. So he began to teach violence and that you had to stand up for yourself and defend yourself along with defending your rights.

Civil Rights Movement

All throughout the movement, these three people played a major role. They all helped the blacks gain their rights. Even though each of them had different views of how they should solve the issue. They all were striving for the same thing. This thing was achieving civil rights for the blacks.
