Teaching the Mind...Nourishing the Soul
Theme for the Year - Beauty
From the Principal
As I watch news story after news story of those frightened and stranded by Hurricane Harvey, I am moved by the selfless people willing and able to carry them to safety. We are witnessing missionary discipleship before our eyes. Each of us can help in our own way, and I am confident this community is doing just that. Please be sure to read the email sent earlier today regarding the Gift Card Drive in which we are participating, and a call to daily prayer for these victims.
In Christ's Service,
Diane Price
Quotes to Ponder
"We are to be missionary disciples just like the Apostles, sharing our faith in word and deed" (Evangelii Gaudium).
- Pope Francis
"Beauty is the arrowhead of evangelization."
- Bishop Robert Barron
At St. Joseph Catholic School, we are striving to become missionary disciples by bringing others to Christ, through the recognition of what is beautiful around us each and every day.

- CAUTION - For your child's safety, please follow the rule of how they are to exit their car. Children are exiting their cars on the left side, and walking between moving cars to enter the sidewalk. This is not safe.
- CAUTION - Do not park your car in the line, turn off your engine, and get out to visit. We welcome fellowship, but would ask that you park your car in the walk-up lot to enjoy time with friends.
- For your reference, we have included in this week's Thursday Folder the map sent out in your packets at the beginning of the year, detailing the proper flow of car line traffic.
- Please be sure your child is wearing appropriate socks per the Parent-Student Handbook p. 19.
Be sure to mark your calendars for this special day of giving:
