Staying in the Loop!
- An Open House for BCSSSD is going to occur the same night as the Provider's Fair in our Central Gym. We will be showcasing our programs and our facility. The event is on April 6th from 6-9pm. If you would like to volunteer to please see your team leaders on your campus.
- Assistive Technology: Thank you so much to all the teachers who filled out the Assistive Technology surveys. Please note that all surveys (classroom and student) need to be completed by February 24th.
- Alternative Proficiency Assessment Science-please have your designated supervisor check your binders and then we will submit them to the state. Thank you for all your hard work.
- New locks were installed on several doors throughout the building today. The doors are in the process of being programmed accordingly. You will use your new ID badges to open these doors. If you press the green button inside the door, it will lock.
- The Physical Restraint policy is now available on Safe Schools for your review. This policy and procedures need to be reviewed and completed by the end of this month.

Book Fair
Wow! Thank you the Book Fair Committee! This event is absolutely beautiful! If you have not been to the book fair yet, you should stop in and check it out in the Media Center! Kudos!!
Emergency Procedure
- Shelter in Place: Lock your classroom doors, lights on, shades need to be down, and continue teaching
- Lock Down: Lock your classrooms doors, lights off, shade down and hide
- Evacuation (non fire): Evacuate to the designated area quickly and calmly
- Fire: Evacuate to designated area quickly and calmly
PD Hours
Come and support research based behavioral and instructional interventions! The PASC program will be holding its 10th Annual Poster Presentation Research Symposium on April 20th 6-8pm in the Central Gym. All are welcome to attend. 1.5 hours of PD will be given out to attendees.

Reminders from Last Week!
- The PLC Meeting will be held on February 24th. PLC are only being held once a month.
- New ID Badges were given out to staff on each campus. If you did not receive a badge, please do not worry. The new badges are going to be for the new door swipes which have not been installed. We will keep you posted on this!
- A ScIP meeting occurred on February 10th and the discussion revolved around increasing morale. If you have viable suggestions or ideas please see one of the ScIP members. - Classroom door windows are not permitted to be covered by municipal code. Please remove any coverings. This does not apply in lockdown or emergency situations when we need to cover the door window.,
