Introducing LeanStream!
The Tuscaloosa City Schools is unveiling a way for members of the community to support classroom needs through LeanStream. Contributions collected through LeanStream will enable Tuscaloosa City Schools to invest additional resources into 21st century learning environments and innovative, exciting student-centered programs. Current needs in include funding a student-driven well project in Kenya, sponsoring participation in a robotics competition and purchasing flexible classroom seating (shown above).
LeanStream has created a custom fundraising webpage for Tuscaloosa City Schools that serves as a fundraising "one stop shop." There are two main parts of the page – the Needs Gallery and the Annual Campaign:
- The Needs Gallery allows teachers and administrators to quickly and easily create and share professionalized fundraising campaigns.
- The Annual Campaign (WiFi on the Go) provides for continuous District-level fundraising by way of recurring contributions. The Annual Campaign (WiFi on the Go) comes with another important feature – as a special thanks for contributions of $50.00 or greater per month, the eligible donors, which includes faculty/staff and students/families of Tuscaloosa City Schools, can receive a free wireless hotspot and free, unlimited, wireless internet service powered by T-Mobile's 4G LTE Network. The hotspot is completely portable, battery-powered, incredibly fast, accessible by multiple users, and perfect for internet at home or "on the go."
LeanStream uses PayPal for all contributions so it is safe, secure, and easy.
