TexQuest Resources to Support Teaching & Learning

TexQuest Resources to Support Remote Learning

TexQuest provides access to authoritative digital resources for educators, students, and students' immediate families in Texas K-12 public schools and open-enrollment charter schools. Using the TexQuest Navigator, students can access all resources with a single login. These resources are a perfect tool for supporting your students during school closings.

Now is the time to familiarize yourself with these resources and ensure your users have easy access. Tip: Create a quick screencast to show users how to access the resources.

If you need support or are unsure of your login, please email sford@esc11.net.

Gale in Context: High School

If you aren't following @GaleSchools on Twitter, add this one to your list. You will get reminders about these educational resources and tips to share with teachers. Here is one of their recent tweets:

"Argumentative writing is a form of writing in which the author takes a position on an issue and attempts to persuade the reader to adopt the position. Gale In Context: High School lays out how this style of writing works in a new topic overview >> https://bit.ly/2YSU29z "

Discovery Education

Instructional Inspiration Channel

Have you checked out Discovery Education lately? The Instructional Inspiration Channel is a collection of grab-and-go lesson activities that combine Discovery Education content and strategies you love into a flexible format for modification or turnkey assignment.

If your district needs help with setting up a single sign-on for Discovery Education, reach out to Maria Collins (mcollins@esc11.net) for more information. Having easy access to this resource will be beneficial for both teachers and students.
