Franklin Is Bringing You A Good Day
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are excited about the spring-forward time change. While I can't say that personally I am super stoked for the time change, I AM excited that it means we are one step closer to warmer weather and the ever-popular Spring Break.
As I was thinking about what to write about this week, I kept coming back to the fact that I think with everything that is going on in the world right now, we are probably all in need of something, no matter how small, to make us smile. With that theme in mind, I bring you the menace of the Summers house: Mr. Franklin. Sometimes he is referred to as Frankenstein, but only when he destroys yet another pair of perfectly lovely and newly purchased shoes.
Franklin is a perfectly precocious tornado of fluff and mischief. With each missing household item, I ask myself whose bright idea it was to get a puppy, and then I remember (or am promptly reminded) that the purchase of good ol' Franklin was ALL my doing.
This week Franklin's shenanigans have included but are not limited to:
a sneak attack and removal of three pairs of shoes, five decorative pillows, more socks than I could count, two Tupperware containers, forgotten about Christmas decor, at least four puzzle pieces, multiple random hoses, two throw blankets, bungee cords, mail, slippers, all of the cotton bedding from the dog bed, and a myriad of random sticks and miscellaneous tools.
I have yet to determine if Franklin is either a puppy or a future career home-robbing criminal in the making. Despite all of his naughtiness, the love and joy he brings to so many is a gift that I suppose is worth the loss of a few really insignificant and easily replaceable things.
I hope this week, you take a moment to look for the small things and moments that bring you joy, and then share that joy with someone in your life that you love, or even better, a stranger that might need a smile more than you know.
As always Patriots...
Remember, you are LOVED!

When Patriots See Something They Say Something
Hey Patriots,
I don't know about you, but I am super exhausted from getting daily reports that there is graffiti on the bathroom stalls, writing on the lockers, and garbage shoved down the toilets. I recently had a student suggest that I enlist some anonymous student agents to help identify students engaging in the undesired behaviors. With that idea in mind, we are offering a Chick-fil-a reward to anyone that provides PROOF when students are doing very un-Patriot-like acts.
All informants will remain anonymous. The vast majority of us take care of and love our school, so let's get the few that are not showing their love appropriately on the right track so we can have a clean, safe, and beautiful school for years to come.

Code Phrase "On This St. Patrick's Day, I Feel Lucky To Be A Patriot!"
It is very important that our Patriots stay informed about the happenings of the school, so for those of you that have read this far, please email the code phrase to Mrs. Summers, from your student email account, for an opportunity to be put in a drawing for front of the lunch line pass, or a free dress down day!
