The Declaratory act was an act passed by the British parliament. It was a British law passed around the same time that the stamp act was repealed. This act was passed mainly to affirm power to the British colonists.

WHAT WAS THE COLONISTS RESPONSE TO THE CAUSE: the colonists celebrated this cause only because the taxes were less but they dd not like the fact that the British parliament had more power over the colonists


HOW DID THIS WORSEN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN: It caused Great Britain to dislike the colonist even more because they effected the stamp act which the British parliament wanted to gain more power over the colonist.

WHO WAS EFFECTED BY THIS ACT?

All 13 colonies were
