Distance Learning Announcements and Updates, 12/4/2020
A Message from Principal Ghereben
I hope you all were able to safely spend time with your family over the Thanksgiving break. It was a much needed rest from our time in Distance Learning. These next couple of weeks before the winter break will fly by fast!
As we continue to receive new information and mandates, it's important to remain positive, kind, and supportive of one another. We will remain in Distance Learning together until it is safe to return. In the meantime, we continue to make plans and prepare our site for the day when we will be allowed to come back together for in person instruction. Please tune into the next District board meeting on Monday, December 14th to hear updates on the District's Reopening Plan. Newly elected Board members will also be sworn into their positions.
Thank you again for your continued support as we do our best in these unprecedented times.
Please continue to read on below for more Distance Learning announcements and updates.
Proctor Parent Academy Presents....Family Reading Night! Wednesday, December 9th @ 5:00PM - 6:00PM
Getting Kids to Read Isn’t Always Easy!
With classrooms and libraries closed, it’s even more important that families are able to support a child’s reading development. But getting kids to read isn’t always easy!
How do you know what your child should be reading? What do you do if your child doesn’t want to read? And how do you get books into your child’s hands during a pandemic, and during the holidays?
If these questions resonate with you, join us for the Proctor Reading Night for Parents/Guardians. This hour-long virtual session will provide practical ideas for how parents, guardians, and other adults can help the children in their lives grow into capable and enthusiastic readers.
We look forward to you joining us!
