Prayers for those impacted by Hurricane Ian

The faculty, staff and students of Sacred Heart Catholic School are praying for those people impacted by Hurricane Ian.


Lord, please be with everyone waiting to be rescued, keep them safe and bring help to them soon. God, bless each and every person affected by this storm and surround them with Your love, protection, and angels. Let them know we are praying for them and their loved one.

Thank you for participating in Marathon 2022!

It was great to see everyone on Saturday. Thank you again to our PTC group and the Knights of Columbus. The picnic was a great way to meet and greet each other.


So far, we have collected $30,800 for our Marathon which is 69% of our goal. Marathon pledge money is due on October 25th to qualify for prizes. After this date, we will distribute prizes and collect t-shirt sizes.

Day of Marathon 2022!

sign up conferences---October 17-18 2:30-7:00 pm

Parent teacher conferences are a great opportunity to share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, assessments, assignments and time for parents to share their child's strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles.


All conferences are in-person.

  • PreK-4th grade conferences must schedule a conference time using SignUp. If you would like to see a specialist (PE, art, Spanish, music) you may stop in the lunchroom to talk with teachers.
  • Grades 5-8 conferences will be drop-in and held in the lunchroom to allow for parents to meet with all teachers. NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED. PLEASE NOTE: DINNER BREAK FOR TEACHERS IS FROM 4:30-5:00 PM.

Wreath Sales have started!

Happy Wreath Selling Season to You All!


We have vigorous FUNdraising goals this fall and they’re based on the reality that this great community always rises to the occasion. Thank You!


While the wreath campaign falls right on the heels of Marathon, we’re pretty certain you understand the value of wreath sales for our school community.


This packet includes a vivid color display of the affordable, quality items we are offering such as wreaths, swag, pine boughs, and centerpieces. Please send all orders and checks/cash by October 25, 2022. Checks payable to Sacred Heart Catholic School.


Another option: Send a fresh, fragrant, natural balsam fir holiday decoration to friends, business associates and loved ones! We have an order form available for mail order and Evergreen Industries will ship directly for you. Contact Sarah Bowback for this special mail order form.

9th Annual Gala -February 10th

We have started planning our gala scheduled on February 10th in our activities building. This is a fun evening for our parents, parishioners, and friends to join together to celebrate Sacred Heart Catholic School.


We need help with the following:

1. LIVE AUCTION ITEMS: Looking for cabins or condo, trip tickets, concert or golf tickets, Twins/Wild/Vikings tickets, hosting a dinner for a group of people, etc. Please contact Karen.

2. Sponsorships: We are looking for businesses to sponsor our event. We have a variety of levels of sponsorships. Maybe you own a business or your place of employment would sponsor our gala. Letters coming soon.

3. Silent Auction baskets: We will be releasing a list of silent auction baskets that you may donate to our auction. All baskets are due January 15th.

Pumpkin Drop-October 31 Volunteers Needed

Our pumpkin drop is back! Each class will create a cradle to keep their pumpkin safe from falling from the roof of the school. Please go to SignUp to volunteer.


We need two strong people to carry the pumpkins up the ladder to our roof along with a clean up crew after the event.

Congratulations to alumnus Lewis Kidd, New Orleans Saints Football player #66

We are so proud of Lewis Kidd. Lewis Kidd is the only undrafted rookie to make the Saints' initial 53-man roster.


Lewis is a graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic School, Totino-Grace H.S. and Montana State. We pray that Lewis has a successful and healthy season. Go Lewis! We are so proud of you.

Grandparent Day/Special Person Day-November 11

Please communicate with your child's grandparent(s)/special person(s) about our special day on November 11th.


When: Friday, November 11

Time: We will begin with arrival at 7:45 a.m., Mass at 8:00 a.m., classroom visits and a program in the gym.


We are in the process of putting together an electronic invitation for our event that we will send to all parents. Each family will be responsible for passing this link on to your child's grandparent/special person or you may register your child's special cues. All guests must RSVP using this electronic link.

VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT- November 10-12

We are hosting the girls Varsity Volleyball tournament for the league on November 10-12. Many hands are needed to make this event successful (especially on Saturday!!). Do you want to volunteer in the classroom? Parents must complete the Essential 3

The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis requires the Essential 3 for volunteers who work with students in Catholic schools or parishes. All employees must also complete the Essential 3. ****Cell phones do not work well for Essential 3 and you will receive an error message. Please use a computer.


You may complete all three requirements online at www.virtusonline.org
1. Log in to create your account and watch the Virtus awareness session online. Every 3 years, a new video will be assigned to your account.
2. Successfully complete a background check.
3. Sign a Code of Conduct.

****The Archdiocese requires all volunteers to renew the Essential 3 requirements every 3 years. You will receive an email message when your account is up for renewal.

We are collecting pop can tabs for the Children's Hospital. We already filled the bucket once this year. Keep sending them in.
