A Young Alumni Retreat Series
Unplug and Connect
Are you looking for a way to unplug a little and connect with your interior self? Sometimes everyday life gets busy, and as a Jesuit-educated alum, you can lean on Jesuit values and Ignatian practices which help to ground you as more loving and just person.
Magis invites you to join alumni in their 20’s and 30’s for a dynamic three-part retreat series focusing on faith and spirituality topics as seen through the Jesuit/Ignatian perspective. Topics will include:
- how to seek and build community
- discovering your vocation & life's purpose
- engaging spiritual practices
Join Magis for conversation, snacks, practice, and community! Cost is free. You are invited to participate in the entire series, or just attend individual sessions.
Retreat #2: Vocation & Life's Purpose
Facilitator: Kathy Collins, MA
Magis is excited to welcome Ignatian facilitator, retired Seattle University campus minister, and recent Maryknoll Missionary Kathy Collins! Kathy will share a brief story on St. Ignatius' life and share some from her own experience. She will then moderate a panel of fellow Jesuit-educated alumni in sharing their vocational stories, as well as tools and tips for meaningful discernment. The evening will include a space for you to ponder how you are presently called in your own life, share in small groups, and hopefully leave a little more inspired.
