Gym uniforms are acceptable only on gym days for grades 1-8. Shoes should be all black or all brown on non-gym days. Leggings are not pants and should never be worn as such. As a reminder, every student in grades 1-8 should wear a tie.
VALENTINE'S DAY UPDATE
This year, Valentine's Day falls on Ash Wednesday. We will be going to Church in the morning. Students may bring cards to exchange with their classmates at the end of the day, but please, no candy or treats.
We have teams in the 8th Grade Boys Division (7th and 8th Grade Boys), 6th Grade Boys Division (5th and 6th Grade Boys) and 6th Grade Girls Division (5th and 6th Grade Girls).
The 8th Grade Boys bested Bellisini on Saturday with leadership from Wesley and Jayden. All players saw substantial time on the floor and contributed to the win. Sebastian scored his first points of the season and all the players did a great job communicating with each other.
The 6th Grade Boys bested Bellisini on Saturday, with key plays coming from Erick, Allen, Jayvien, Jermaine and Jordie. LCA had a deep bench and we were able to keep Bellisini on their toes with our defensive improvements.
The 6th Grade Girls played Bellisini in a super close game on Saturday. While the final score had LCA losing by 1, the girls played hard and did their absolute best. Skyla, Kiki and Valerie all had great games and played hard on offense and defense. We will regroup on Monday for the playoffs next weekend!
The 5/6 teams will have practice on Monday!
