2015: Year of the Wood Goat
The Year of the Wood Goat (also known as the year of the Wood Sheep), February 19, 2015 to February 7, 2016, combines the practicality and slow growth of Wood with Goat's creative, social, and emotionally sensitive nature.
I’m fascinated by the never-ending list of dos and don’ts to ensure good luck and prosperity:
Noodles promote a long life. Cut them at your own peril!
Sweep during the holidays and you’ll sweep away your good fortune.

(A). GREATER TORONTO REALTORS® REPORT MONTHLY RESALE MARKET FIGURES - Toronto Real Estate Board President Paul Etherington announced a strong start to 2015, with robust year-over-year sales and average price growth in January. Greater Toronto Area REALTORS® reported 4,355 home sales through the TorontoMLS system during the first month of the year. This result represented a 6.1 per cent increase over January 2014. During the same period, new listings were up by 9.5 per cent.
"The January results represented good news on multiple fronts. First, strong sales growth suggests home buyers continue to see housing as a quality long-term investment, despite the recent period of economic uncertainty. Second, the fact that new listings grew at a faster pace than sales suggests that it has become easier for some people to find a home that meets their needs," said Mr. Etherington.

The exhibition will feature more than 100 works by the artist, whose works touched on themes like racism, politics and class struggle. He explored these concepts through New York street culture, and his work gained massive acclaim in North America and Europe. Though the artist died at 27, his stature has only grown over the decades since his death. http://www.ago.net/basquiat
Art Deco or Edwardian: A pictorial guide to early 20th century Toronto housing styles
We’ve covered Victorian architecture styles before, focusing on home and hearth in 19th century Toronto. The first part of the 20th century was, in large part, a reaction to the popular designs that came before it, focusing more on simple styles instead of gaudy embellishments.
Here are some of the most popular home styles you’ll see in neighbourhoods built up between the 1900s and 1940s (photos by James Bombales).
