Water Fleas Live in Ponds,Lakes, and Slow moving Streams.


Water Fleas eat algae and protozoans.But water fleas are eaten by many small fish, tadpoles, salamanders, newts, and aquatic insects.


Water fleas have a s shaped tail and big black eyes,jaws and four sets of legs the first set of legs is longer than the rest and is used for catching prey.


Water fleas have a hard outer shell to protect it from predators.Water fleas also have a hard spiny helmet shaped head and a long antennae it uses its antennae to swim.

Daphnia Ambigua is the scientific name for Water Flea.

Water Fleas are not actually fleas.
